When I was 27, the draft was mostly Abita Amber.

No one is talking about it, but with the likely losses of Strief and Kelemete...we have zero depth with and aging center, a LG coming off a major injury, and an injury prone LT. I feel we desperately need depth here. It could ruin our season if we don’t have it.

Outside of that - DE, LB, S, WR depth.

This isn’t a question we can really take an educated guess at until we see how free agency pans out and what our needs will be going forward after that.

I actually agree with going OL. I think if we shore up our WR and/or TE during FA, it should be a priority to go OL unless there's a great defensive player available.

Nonetheless, I think you could make a good argument for most positions on our roster right now, besides punter, QB, and kicker.

The punter from Valdosta St. has deadly accuracy when pinning teams inside the half yard line. So id go with him.

I feel like you can get a top rush end late second.

Unfortunately we don’t have a 2nd. And although it may be a deep position “top end” talent at DE in the 1st vs 2nd vs 3rd (or whenever we pick after 27) is going to drop off. We lucked out last year with a lot of really high quality picks that slipped and fell into our laps, but not every year will be that ideal
