Yeah I figured that because it was a felony. I still don't think you should lose your gun rights for life. Just my opinion. If you were a violent felon than I wouldn't want you armed again.

Governors pardon, wait 10 years, or get it expunged. Those are your options. Once its expunged get your Ccw and go buy the gun you want.

Expungement won’t enable you to get a ccw...only a pardon from the governor

The First Offender Pardon that kicked in 10 years after completion of sentence was disqualified as it relates to gun rights a couple of years back. ATF sent letters to all the gun dealers alerting them to this. It does in fact now require a court ordered expungement or a governors pardon. Source - I am a FFL.
