I love how you consider all those people "controversial," pretty sure there was a thread yesterday about this concept. God I didn't realize how effective propaganda was until these blue hairs came into existence

So accepting the fact there are biological differences between men and women has no place in a civilized society but breaking sound speakers while protesting is?

This is the liberal agenda at work. When facts prove you wrong, walk out and take away their speech. These people will be the same ones bitching about not finding a job after college and protesting for a socialist society because they can't make it on their own. Our only hope as a country is that they grow up and mature.

That's not my word, moron, it's the event organizer's word, like I said.

Chill out Billy Badass, I'm just pointing out how laughable it is that the bar for controversy is now a biology teacher who says boys and girls are different. Bret Weinstein is the most relaxed guy ever and has done a shite ton more hands on for minorities than all the sky screamers afraid of his thoughts

Granted I misread your post but the event organizers did not say they designed it to be controversial as you implied

If that was the totality of the talk then you might have a point.

The talk was more about the pros and cons of diversity.

And so if we don't like the way the talk goes, it's okay to disrupt and sabotage sound equipment?

Good to know.

(ETA: There ARE cons to diversity. Come at me, bro.)

Is it controversial to suggest that there are cons to diversity?

Good. Is it controversial to offer 2 or more differing opinions on any topic?

Does controversy justify these students (or anybody's) juvenile antics to try to silence the speakers? I get that they don't want to hear the talk. But, they don't want ANYONE to hear the talk, which is the essence of the progressive anti-speech movement that seems nearly universal on university campuses.

Do you:

1. Agree this is their goal, and

2. Agree with me that this is unsupportable and wrong.

No. I never implied this either.

Yes.

Yes.

My only point in this thread is that I don't understand the need to reduce or mislead an already retarded event. The OP has a history of doing this because he is a dishonest hack.

Fair enough. I don't think we have any significant disagreement on the topic, then.

(ETA: But, to be fair to the OP, this is when they appeared to strike - at the very mention of the factually supportable differences between men and women.)
