By next weekend you will only remember they won the series. That’s what matters. At the time these games suck but over the course of the season you are going to have them.

Agreed...not a very enjoyable way to cap off the weekend. Good thing is that baseball has a damn long season and there are generally 4 games per week, so one game here and there is not really a big deal no matter how good or badly a team does.

Add into the fact that ND split with Purdue yesterday and lost to YOUNGSTOWN STATE today can’t make us feel really good,!

For those who haven't been following LSU baseball for very long, Alabama beat LSU 28-2 during the 1997 season.
Then LSU beat Bama for the CWS title.

Yesterday was just one of those days that you get every so often in baseball. 5 or 6 runners stranded in the 1st 2 innings. LSU still had 9 or 10 hits and smoked a bunch of balls just right to UT fielders. Pitching is bad. I know it’s early and guys will inmprove but this team is going to need to win 10-7 games, not 3-2.
