how about simple economics....

$6.99 for a pound of crawfish.........versus $6.99 for a loaf of bread, and jars of peanut butter and jelly.

half a lunch versus a week of food.......

fricking asinine to GIVE people money without being able to tell them how to use it.

Give me just one other example.......just one.

My question was, "why are crawfish bad for you?" Not. "Is it a good idea to allow people to buy crawfish with EBT."

However, crawfish are certainly better for you than P,B&J, and the post I was replying to was about the health costs associated with poor nutrition.

I think I wandered into the OT.

5 pounds is no unusual for me to eat. That's $35.
