Recently I have received such messages from cell phone and computer...it says attackers might be trying to steal my information. I have been ignoring and bypass the barricade. I don’t store any financial or sensitive data on this site, but wondered if I should take some other precaution.

Literally no one cares about the SECrant. Go away.

I wish they'd steal your membership to the OT Lounge.

I've been getting it on every site. Rant, OT, Poli, all of them. It's annoying. On Android device oly.

My cell phone is android, but not my laptop or iPad. It has happened on first two, but not IPad. Keeps saying not a private connection...go back to safety.
Sorry to bother those who wasted time responding with their disdain. I did not intend to victimize anyone. ??

It just means their SSL certificate expired. No big deal, and I'm sure it'll be fixed up quickly.

Been meaning to ask you this...who's the lovely lady in your avatar?
Posted on 2/24/18 at 8:46 am to Bogie00
I didn’t start a thread about it because I thought it was just my crazy ex as usual. But I was, haven’t lately, getting the same message on my iPhone from this site.

No idea.
But Darth Rebel in his eternal quest to find lovely ladies found her on some Pinterest pages.
Even dedicated one of his many babe threads in her honor.

Thank you for responding with this explanation.

Sounds like not much of a deal...but I am sure the feathered one and Circus want to get it fixed up. I would request admin review on your original post and ask them to move this to the help board....that is where such things are usually discussed.

Can you post a screen shot of warning?

Are you using a bookmark to open the site? If so, can you post the url that you are using?

Gumps probably messed it up. Those hillbillies could break an anvil.

Anyone know if this is going to be fixed?

Is this happening on SECRant.com only? What url are you using?

What device and browser are you using? Does it happen all the time? or certain pages?
