Folks got the family a cocker spaniel when I was a kid. They both had one growing up and were good dogs. This one we got was the meanest dog I have ever seen. Did 2 tours at the vet jail for biting people. In fairness to the dog one of the bites was on his turf. On a run, in a fenced backyard. Kid came back there and got bit.

My parents had one before having us. Got rid of it after having us. Things can be mean.
