I started drinking at 12 and using meth at 15 by the time I was 35 I wanted to quit and found I couldn't. I started going to rehab and therapeutic communities and doing what the said to do, didn't work. In 2010 I got arrested yet again and I met some cats that showed me what AA really was so 6/13/2010 is my sobriety date and I got with the parctice of the steps and principles of AA. Took me 8 years of struggling and fighting to get sober before this happened, I am now 50 and a productive member of society living a life I never thought I could. My advice is to do the work and receive the results.
