At this point, there's no chance of Kasich siphoning off any meaningful number of votes from Trump. The few thousand votes he could possibly muster nationally, would be from the die hardest never trumpers such as NT74 and Buckeye's internet persona, such that it wouldn't really amount to "taking votes from him" (nobody is voting for Trump, but would vote for Kasich, if ONLY he would run) such that they would have no chance of influencing anything.

The only possible candidates among Republicans who might pose a viable challenge to Trump are Romney and Jeff Flake.

Bill Kristol's Youtube page has about 8,000 subscribers, Beck's media company is a couple of months away from complete failure, etc. I'd say the subsequent torpedoing of the Never media outlets post election is probably an accurate depiction of how sizable that group is.
