That is why the 2nd amendment is so important. We simply can not depend on the state to protect. The state had an armed man waiting at the scene of a mass murder and he did nothing. The only way to ensure you are safe is to protect yourself and not rely on anyone else.

Well and the state had 39 calls to the house, the kid was shooting at the neighbors animals.
FBI had multiple warnings and did nothing.
Yeah about the fricking state protecting, not so much.

How quickly these asshats forget that a good guy with a gun ended the rampage at the Texas Church a few months back.

When such a premise is accepted and understood, maybe this can help us understand why Der Staat seems to place the interests of the Individual down on the list of priorities.
