What an excellent example of a partisan frenzy that was, and a reminder that protesters in the streets do not represent the feelings of the larger body of a population. Likewise, a reminder that during any "movement", facts do not matter.
More importantly, probably the rawest abuse of power incident in 21st century America (the Wisconsin John Doe investigations) barely ever got a blip on the national news.
What should have been a national story night after night barely got a mention.
The Walker recall stuff was stupid, but I generally don't get upset at people protesting, using legal means to try to influence policy, whatever. The John Doe stuff was truly scary, though. All those implicated should have been sent to prison for a long time.
