I wouldn't jack it up or anything. I still am not decided on what to get. I have looked at Ford, Chevy, Toyota and the new Titans. The only thing that scares me on the tundra is people saying 10 mpg. I would be good with 15-16. My Tacoma only gets 17-18.

If you don't lift it and run big tires you should average about that. My 2014 that had only a leveling kit and 285's with the 5.7 averaged about 15.

I have a 2016 with stock tires and drive ~60-75 miles per day interstate and in town. Average 16.3 mpg.
