why not enact more regulation that dissolve the 1st or 4th amendments?

I don't see how any gun restrctions affect the 1st amendment in any way. It talks about freedom of religion to gather, to speech, etc.
s far as the 4th amendment talks about UNREASONABLE search and seizure. A buy back program requiring citizens to turn in some of their weapons that don't meet the guidelines does not constitute UNREASONABLE search and seizure nor is it unreasonable to seach and seize weapons from those who do not comply.
2nd amendment rights would still be protected
