Ascension Parish auto repair recommendations....

I'm having trouble with my Honda Accord starter and this seems to be a known problem with 2013 Accords. It's out of warranty of course and Honda won't admit this is a problem (some judge just threw out a class action suit on this) even though one complaint site has 80 owners with this problem. A dealer will charge 1,000 bucks to change it so I'm told but local repair shops usually charge half that much to change the starter out. Anyone have suggestions for a repair shop around Prairieville? Thanks!

$1000 is a great deal for a starter. You better jump on that.

Tricare on Airline is close. Rates are high but it will get fixed.
Also a smaller shop nearby to Jefferson/Highland, L&S Automotive does good work.

Tim's is a good place. Also had a lot of good experience with Diez tire on 42.

This is criminal.... it’s a $100 part.
A couple of wires and a few bolts is all that’s involved...... 15 mins tops.
If you can’t change a starter out you shouldn’t be driving
