Black Panther is the king of a sovereign country. He becomes king after his father is killed while speaking to the UN.

If there are NO political references in this, then that's a bad move... that's the basis of his character.

And political stuff has already been infused into Marvel; half the world's population hates Tony Stark because he's a defense contractor. Cap deals with Hydra within Shield, which could double for the current FBI scandals (although I don't think they planned it that way )

From what I read of the spoilers, most of the plot is political in nature. How much is presented as positive or negative, I don't know. But it's essential that it be there, otherwise he's just another adventurer.

And to be clear, let's keep politics separate from race on this board, ok?
