LSU Rugby is gearing up for the biggest match of the year. The Tigers will face Texas A&M this Saturday outside of Houston at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, TX. This match will serve as the opening match before the Houston Sabercats, Houston's professional team, matches the Ontario Arrows.
This match is extremely important for the Red River South conference standings. The winner will virtually clinch the South and set up a matchup with Baylor for the Red River Championship. I can't stress enough how much the Tigers are itching to get revenge for last seasons upset at the hands of the Bears.
Here is the FloRugby recap from last week relevant to LSU.
And their updated Rankings with LSU sliding up a spot to #24 after a 63-29 win over Texas.

Red River South Wing Ruben Mikeska scored two early tries as Texas A&M rolled over Houston 44-10 on Saturday to move to 4-1. Meanwhile, LSU put on an impressive performance a week after beating A&M, taking down Texas 63-29. Lock Dylan Stephens and wing Aidan Elias both scored twice and Brennan Falcon was a monster at No. 8, getting player-of-the-game honors. Robert Hughes scored two for UT, but LSU's points haul has put everyone on notice. The Tigers needed to play this game after the fixture with Texas was called off due to snow, forcing a rescheduling of class in Baton Rouge, LA. Missing the game would have meant missing out on points in the standings. Now it all comes down to this coming Saturday's meeting with A&M to decide who is the likely Red River South winner.
