Let me remind you that Brandon Harris was also ranked the No. 3 DT QB coming out of HS. His drawback was then and is now: accuracy (he has added lack of pocket poise to that list).
I don't want to compare Narcisse with Harris and condemn him to failure, but your statement that Narcisse couldn't have an accuracy problem and be the NO. 3 ranked DT QB is silly.

Now that I think about it, Russell Sheppard was the No. 1 ranked dual threat QB in his class and he clearly could not hit this side of a barn.

Hear this stuff every year. At QB, what it comes down to (Unless you're CAM N.) is talent + leadership + brains.
I don't know much about Narcisse but it's great that he's got the first. We'll see whether he's got the other two when the season begins.

Can he read defenses, check-off, lead a team? I hope he excels at all aspects of playing QB

If his accuracy was as bad as you say, he wouldn’t have been ranked the #3 DT when he was a soph/junior
Yea the recruiting services has convinced everyone that every single QB prospect is ranked accordingly and will absolutely pan out to be as good as their ranking. Your argument is weak at best. I know a guy that has ties to the program and he says LN's accuracy and footwork needs a lot of work. See how that sounds. Don't start threads on hearsay. You don't know anymore than anybody else.

Lowell Narcisse down in Florida
Almost...allllmost...sounds like he went down with an injury in Florida.

Does anybody have information to report reliably on his rehab? Doe she come back with good speed, agility?

Yeah, a lot of dumb tards on here as usual anointing Myles Brennan as the starter and savior already, and they really haven't a clue as to what he's capable of doing out there because this isn't HS football anymore. The couple of times he played last season he was completely overwhelmed, not mobile enough to avoid the pass rush, and was just totally lost out there. Granted, he shouldn't have even been out there in the first place because he was'nt ready and you could clearly see it, but Orgeron and Canada were doing there fighting and so the kid got thrown in there when he shouldn't have been.
but these tards comparing Narcisse to Harris is a joke, they are nothing alike. Just because you see this kid throw a few high passes in practice last year, suddenly you're comparing him to Brandon Harris because he's Black also of course. Lmao The kid was clearly trying to get his rhythm and timing back down after being out so long with another injury, and that is what you do in practice because it's got damn practice like AI said. Lol But it's been awhile now since that injury, and he got redshirted last season and had all that time to heal and recover. So, I think the kid is fully healthy now and you'll start seeing the real Lowell Narcisse again imo, a talented youngster that can run and pass.
He is no Brandon Harris, he's a lefty for starters, and he runs really well like a RB because he's a physical specimen that can run you over, but he is a real QB because he has a cannon for an arm and he really knows how to throw the ball. Meaning he knows when to take something off his passes, not to throw it too hard or to soft, he knows how to throw the long ball or gun it in there if it is a tight window, I mean you see it all in his Hudl highlights. But you have this group on here that's already anointed Myles Brennan as the starter because of who he is, they also take a shot at Narcisse's intelligence as if he's not capable of learning a somewhat complicated offense. Lol And that just irks of racism, no other way around it, complete utter bullshite!

somebody down votes an inquiry into how a player's rehab is going?

I don't want to stir the pot on this thread any more than it appears it already has been, but the man to the right of Jarvis is Andy Sink...he's the agent for all the athletes in OP, save Jarvis. Hopefully his contact with Lowell isn't a problem.

Only way it'll be a problem is if he slipped Lowell some duckies-money.

You killin me tubu.. who’s anointing who?? As you say this ain’t HS anymore. Thank God it’s not for Lowell since he only played in 5 games in 3 years and had 2 major knee reconstruction surgeries.. but let’s say you’re right and Brennan should have not been out there this year, do you think Narcisse should have been? Me neither! So someone had to be the back up QB and obviously McMillian did not win the job.. That puts Myles yet another year ahead of Lowell in game speed experience. Now, I have seen Lowell play live in HS and at Elite 11, can you say the same about having seen Brennan play live? And I am not talking about the 20 insignificant plays this year for LSU although they were better than not playing at all. Lowell is smart, a great athlete and a true leader and I am not anointing anyone, I am just stating what is painfully obvious and that is Brennan is light years ahead of Narcisse in “Game Speed” experience which no matter how many times Lowell goes to FL that cannot be duplicated.. Maybe he is Superman, we will soon find out..

fricking stupid. Saying he isn't athletic (mobile) is dumb.

No!, you jackass. It's because he has 3 times the experience because he played all years in high school and was healthy and practicing and playing the entire year last year...so sorry for thinking last year's freshman backup, that has more experience might be considered the frontrunner going into spring!
Ask yourself thus question...if we had a game to play tomorrow, with LSUs returnees and LSU offense....would you as a head coach feel more comfy naming Brennan or LN as starter? Be fricking honest! That's all that's going in here. No one here has named the starter, Steve fricking E has named the person who takes first snap in spring....I'm POSITIVE he knows bith players situation better than you.
And yes, this IS college, and the same way you say Brennan isn't in high school anymore, relates exactly the same to LN..he won't run around on SEC defenses like he was able to in hs...that s not a good plan.
2 very talented kids and both will play in a way that showcases their individual talents.
But saying Brennan is expected to be mire advance overall at this point is NOT a white and black issue, it's a sound assessment from an experience standpoint
Be more level headed

I do think both will get a shot at it. Honestly I think they'd be crazy to not use both of them.
I agree, i would look at the whole 2QB system alot different with those two guys, i actually think both are prob very good and could both start just about everywhere.. I hope Ensminger has a Read Option installed, with some easy throws in there.. I think Narcisse would give Saban the shits.. its literally the only chink in sabans defensive armor.. A mobile (avoid the rush) , accurate throwing QB.

Another asshat, did you see the kid last season, asshat?? Did you see him struggle to avoid the pass rush closing in on him, he doesn't run well or move well anyway you want to phrase it, jackass. He was immediately sacked when the pass rush came, and I'm not gonna waste my time arguing with someone that I'm sure has never even played any damn organized sports in there little life, I have, so I think I know what the hell I'm talking about dumb frick.
To the other poster, no, I'm not killing you, brah, just stating the obvious also. And I don't believe Myles Brennan is light years ahead of Lowell Narcisse, they played in different offenses, no doubt. Narcisse in a RPO spread and Brennan in a mostly pass based spread offense. Brennan cadences and all that stuff is totally different from Narcisse, who mostly was kept to simple cadences in his read, run and pass based offense. Brennan had to audibilize a lot more than Narcisse, and so his terminology and all that stuff is further along because of the type of offense he was in. But both will have to learn a new offense and cadence and terminology and all that shite because that is the world of football. You play for someone else all that shite goes out the window that you learned under the previous people you played for, and you start from scratch all over again. But Brennan and McMillan were the backups, not just Brennan, but Canada wanted Brennan in there in some instances to play even though Orgeron didn't, and so it was a lil cat fight between them. But even in the instances Brennan played he was clearly overwhelmed, so I don't know what that idiot poster(lsusaint) was looking at.

If you know Lowell Narcisse, then tell him to fight for his chance to start. We've already been through all these types of hype stories from Lindsey Scott where his friends and Zachary bois get on here to try and pressure the coaching staff and get a fan revolt going. In the end, you're doing him more harm than good with all the 'He's so awesome and the other guy is crap' stories. It's up to him to prove it and fight for the job. Tiger fans will accept a decent qb and love a great one. The job is won on the field and not on the message board. It's his to win or lose.
