Aug 27 1967. After that it was all a painful blur. I do remember while adjusting my battle field zero on my trusty M-14 my DI telling me I was using the wrong shoulder to fire my weapon. Being a southpaw I had to fire right handed the rest of the time. Oh yea, he he got my attention by popping me in the helment with his swagger stick. Did any of you do the quick kill with BB guns?
