Damn. Sorry bro. That's a big reason I switched to hook grip.

You probably weren't pulling the slack out.

No I definitely was. I make a habit of resetting and pulling the slack out on every rep 3 plates and up. Just a freak thing I suppose. I was planning on competing this year but that got flushed down the drain.

damn, I still used mixed. This is stark reminder. I need to learn hook, or just go double overhand with versa grips.
I previously tore my left bicep, and my mixed grip is with the right arm supinated. I'd hate to have a matching set of scars.
