I used to love going into Denver when visiting my father in law. Now, we never go in to the city because it has changed so much.
Was it the plummeting unemployment rate, rapidly improving school system, or billions of outside capital coming into downtown that have turned you away from Denver?
Maybe it is just the large population growth among young, employed people looking for a great city to start their families in.

Imagine what sort of utopian society they could have if they outlawed both pot and alcohol. Tack on removing all guns (and likewise violence) and you have the perfect society.

Denver is super cool, there is no denying that. It does attract tons of homeless people. Drive down Colfax to the Capitol building and youll see hordes of them. Its also annoying how expensive housing is. The weed company owners have to buy real estate to avoid the feds potentially raiding their bank accounts and they buy it up like crazy. The market is a huge bubble. Once other states start legalizing, there will be a decline in the Denver market.
