As much as I hate to say it.....

Miles is 100x the recruiter and coach that O is. It's not even close. Just let Miles coach this year. We are paying him anyway.

Yes and no. Miles had misses and sometimes did not recruit our weakness. But he did hit some home runs, easier when you are closer to the top.

You don't hate to say it at all.
Miles isn't coaching anywhere. No one wants his washed up arse.

we were winning more football games, something Miles was trending down doing when he was fired. It's a lot easier to recruit well when you're winning a lot.

We have the #11 class in the country.

We have 0 CBs and are losing one next year.

Nobody wants Orgeron either, with the exception of LSU's fricked up administration

why do you feel like they are the only 2 coaches that we can possibly think about for LSU? come'on... think outside the box!!

And Miles didn't sign QBs when we needed them. So how is Miles 100x better?

I mean, Miles went 9-3 in 2015. He also went 10-3 in 2013 and then signed the #1 class. O just went 9-4. Really not much difference in Ws and Ls comparatively.
2008 was arguably the worst year I've seen as an adult going 8-5 (3-5), and Miles got the #1 class in 2009.

Coach O so far has shown me nothing in the way of being this "great recruiter" that his supporters have always raved about. And losing Mario Goodrich was definitely avoidable, but O put him off to go after Foster. Stupid. Now no CB's signed in this class when we really needed at least one. Hell, we could have at least had Harold Joiner, but he was basically told to look elsewhere after he'd shown many indications of wanting to come here.

Many of our recruiting problems exist in areas where miles created issues. Miles fricked over Harris, not O. Miles missed on a ton of OL and DL in-state top talent.
Miles and his pathetic fricking offenses is what gave LSU this stigma that we must overcome by simply putting up #s and winning.
This game is about near misses. We almost had had kiffin as our OC for God's sake. We would have dominated, but then he probably would have left for a HC gig.
All this will pass in time. I see very little failure on O's part...maybe needed another db, but only because of early defections.
He got the OL and DL beef we need...most other parts get better because of that.
Next year we have a Monster DL and an all American LB and great Db's that are highly athletic. Well be hard to score on, IMO
Tall, strong athletic receivers and a solid OL. We surely need one of these STUD freshman qb's to step up and if so, LSU will be a damn tough W for anyone to get.
I saw ESPN had us ranked 3rd or 4th in SEC recruiting class. Not bad considering the teams at 1, 2, and 3

Look at Miles' class rankings, which were consistently in the top-10. Coach O is supposedly a better recruiter, but he damn sure hasn't shown it yet to me. On the contrary, I'm VERY underwhelmed by him so far.

huh? Harris simply didn't have the tools. He hasn't progressed at all at UNC either.

agree 100%

LSU undoubtedly needed a DB and a RB in this class and got neither. Lost 2 recruits to SEC west rivals that were LSU leans. #14 class is unsatisfactory for a man who has done nothing but tout his recruiting ability.

agreed. Solid in trenches.

Miles fricked over Harris,
It's Miles' fault that Harris didn't want to put in the work and learn how to read defenses?
