The only card Mueller has left is perjury.

The investigation has screwed itself. There are too many players with questionable loyalties who have become unreliable witnesses. If the prosecution botches a source in its investigation or obtains a warrant under false pretenses, like the dossier, it clouds the rest of their sources. There's too much reasonable doubt here.

There could be a smoking gun, but we've yet to see it.
