This would be like the president of the Premier League running for FA president and part of their platform being that the Premier League should have an ownership stake in the FA Cup

LINK

This is the biggest property USSF owns outside of the National Teams and the MLS/SUM employee says that MLS/SUM should own a part of it... just let that sink in.

She wants to be President of USSF... and give up ownership % of its 2nd largest property... to ... her... employer.

if it's either that, or no more MLS teams participate in the USOC ever...

Well I hope she isn’t

Even that wack job Hope Solo seems to really understand what is going on with her complaint against the USSF she filed to the US Olympic committee

Solo says that the federation isn't doing what it needs to in order to "develop interest and participation" throughout the country. She also claims institutional bias in favor of MLS, which she seems to believe is hurting the amateur game. She goes on quote USSF president Sunil Gulati for a comment he said at the 2014 National Council Meeting that the federation is "more of a consumer-driven organization," saying that is because of its financial partnership with MLS through Soccer United Marketing, led by fellow presidential candidate Kathy Carter.
