It feels wrong and reactionary to think this way but I kind of agree. AD refuses to step up. He's too laid back and too chill. AD obviously has the talent to be the guy and have that killer instinct, but he doesn't show it. Jrue shows it and it electrifies the team (i.e. Jrue's defense against Chicago). But Boogie is the heart of this team and Dell better do all he can to bring him back. Because unless there's a change in AD, this team isn't going anywhere without Boogie

I agree with you that Jrue was an absolute animal defensively in that game and in the past month, in general. With that said, he didnt have that killer instinct at any point in New Orleans until about 2 months(ish) ago when he started to play up to his contract. Jrue was terrible the first month of basketball. But he has been solid, no knock on him.
