I agree. I’m just expressing in my opinion why he took so long on the 18th fairway...if they’re were not on the clock...him and his caddie could not decide what was the best option...and he was grinding it out on the back 9...he was probably thinking which shot was going to get me the biggest paycheck or the contention of getting in the playoff. It was a miracle the way he was playing on the back 9 to even have a chance for the win.

He's made $21+ million from career earnings on the Tour alone. It's not like he's struggling for cash. He even said afterwards he was trying to put himself in the best situation to win.

I get that it was windy, but at some point you just have to suck it up and hit the ball. Hopefully the Tour does take notice of this and start enforcing slow play. JB's a notoriously slow player. So are guys like Andrew Loupe, Kevin Na, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, etc. But the Tour lets them play slow, so why would they change anything?

Hopefully this starts to speed up golf rounds. Granted, the double tees and Torrey didn't help yesterday, but I've seen twosomes take five hours on tour. Just makes it a far less watchable product.

That drive off of 18 was the first time he had hit the center of the club face in 6 or 7 holes, still no excuse, play for the win, bills can’t be that tight with his success on tour unless he’s an idiot to begin with.
