One Million Dollars- Would you Self-Deport?

Here’s the deal:
1 million dollars free and clear.
Edit- husband and wife could each get a million.
Forfeit US citizenship.
Never return to US under penalty of death with all US and Geneva rights waived.
Can’t go to Canada or Mexico, but you can go anywhere else. After that, I suppose you could go to Canada or Mex, but as part of the deal you have to initially leave the continent.
12 Month recision period.
If you decide it was a big mistake and you love America too much, you can come back by repaying all of the money.
After 12 months, the deal is done.

Make it two million and yes. I'd move to spain or portugal

Anyone not already a millionaire who wouldn't take this deal is an idiot.

sure. I'd go to thailand and live like a fricking king

Man, that is a damn tough question...

1 million? No. 500M? Yup. I'd move all of my family and friends that wanted to somewhere nice. Maybe an island somewhere.

frick yeah. I’d go buy a little land on South Island of New Zealand. Would move there right now if wife was willing. My favorite place I’ve ever been.

$1 million isn't really life changing moeny. It's not like you could move to a beach in the South of France and just kick it so no. $10 million, yeah I'd do it, but $1 million no.

I'd probably take the deal and move to Hawaii if only the language barrier wasn't so bad.

One million is not that much money anymore.

You can’t come back to see family, weddings, funerals. You can’t come back for medical care. You can’t make a business trip.
You can’t come back period. You can’t even fly over the airspace if that’s even enforceable.

A million dollars isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things. So no.
Honestly, not because I would miss America too much. There’s a lot of really great places to live in throughout the world. But missing important things like family weddings and kids being born isn’t worth it.

Wouldn’t be a bad deal to take. Get out now before the US goes down the drain in 20 or so years
