quote:

Guard: Ethan Pocic, Seattle Seahawks
Draft position: Round 2, No. 58 overall.
While he might never climb to the level of a Pro Bowler, Pocic -- who allowed two sacks -- projects as a long-time starter after playing reasonably well in his first pro season. He's a versatile lineman who can play guard or tackle.

quote:

Cornerback: Tre'Davious White, Buffalo Bills
Draft position: Round 1, No. 27 overall.
White was burned on just 39 of 77 balls thrown his way. He finished with 18 passes defensed, four picks and 69 tackles in a really phenomenal rookie season. He matched the production of former Bills back Stephon Gilmore -- who left via free agency for New England -- at a significantly lesser cost to the team.

quote:

Safety: Jamal Adams, New York Jets
Draft position: Round 1, NO. 6 overall.
Adams started all 16 games and finished with 83 tackles, two sacks and six passes defensed. He's going to be a Pro Bowler for many years to come.

Not sure how they got the wrong pic for Jamal. The jersey number should be a giveaway.

Always bitter sweet seeing guys have instant impacts in the NFL while LSU wasn’t able to accomplish much with them

Congrats to them though, glad to see them succeeding!!

You can make argument Fournette should have been on there over Hunt who faded a little down the stretch

"You can make argument Fournette should have been on there over Hunt who faded a little down the stretch"

That would tough considering Hunt's overall body of work, but I was surprised not to see LF on the list of those who just barely missed making the list.

Fournette is on the list of rookie players who just missed the cut. It’s at the top of the article.

totally those 3 games while Hunt was struggling and LF averaged 2.5 YPC was impressive....

LF had a great season, but Hunt deserved it and even during his "fade" he was averaging 4+ YPC. The Chiefs were being stupid and only giving him 9-11 carries

Hunt turned it back on at the end of the regular season but disappeared for the middle.
