Very late with these but finally had time to put it together. Nothing fancy with the editing on these things but raw hunts lol.
Hunted 10/1-10/5. I shot 3 does and could have shot more, very target rich environment. Wanted to try to get on a buck but never really had the chance. All in all a great trip and a lot of fun.
Enjoy!

Watched them a few days ago. Awesome stuff! Tough tracking in that sandy soil.
Need to get our goose hunt edit done.

What was the terrain like where you hunted at? How did you hunt?
I just got on a new lease in Gould, Ok and it looks like North Texas. Lots of mesquite. Very few trees to hang lock ons. Trying to figure out the best way to bow hunt it. Obviously I could do ground blinds but I’m not the biggest fan.

Leaning ladders are your best best.
In that first video I was in a lock on in a cedar tree. Only about 12’ High. Used the limbs up climb up. That was a killer set.
You’ll have to be creative but it’s poasible. If it’s only mesquite, I suggest investing in some tripods.
I got this ladder on this terribly crooked tree on the edge of a well location. Works great to catch deer traveling through This is the stand I was hunting in Video 2

Solid advice! I like being up high. I was wondering if you can shoot standing up in a ground blind.
