not at all. My parents are from nola, my grandparents are from nola. My wife from slidell. I grew up in a saints household, and always pull for saints. I just dont have (team) i am emotionally attached to in the nfl. I still have saints tickets yearly. Im just speaking on the facts that last week didnt mean anything is comical. It meant everything. Everyone, especially saints fans know how hard it is to get to the superbowl. And had it set up to play nick foles to get to the superbowl to play probably the pats worst defense they have had in a bowl. That one play ruined everything, so i just dont get how it means nothing now.

You are misinterpreting what meaning nothing means. It means a lot in the sense of it knocked us out of the playoffs, obviously. It’s just not a play that is gonna be in the nfl pages of greatest plays or talked about by sports analysts 25 years from now. It may be some, but nothing like if Vikings went on to win a SB. Nobody but 49ers and Saints fans give a shite about what VD did in playoffs in 2012, or Saints and Rams when Hakim dropped the ball.

Outside of Saints and 49ers fans, who really remembers the 2011 divisional game and the Vernon Davis touchdown and how big a part of NFL playoff lore is it?

The Marcus Williams frick up will share the same distinction as a footnote in NFL history.

Nobody cares who you grew up with or what your connection is with the saints. It really doesn't give you any more credibility.
