That Philly D is nasty.

I REALLY wanted Schwartz back when he got fired by the Lions. Dude is a great DC and has that fire. I thought he did okay as a Head Coach but the Lions haven't had a competent GM in ever so he could never get what he needed to make it work.

After what Allen pulled last week it still has me fuming. That stupid defend the sideline formation put our guys in a shite spot. After the first time we did it the Vikings knew EXACTLY what to call to counter it. Even if the tackle was being made the receiver may have still went out.

But Allen has been doing stupid stuff in those situations all year. How many third and longs have been converted on us because we either max blitz or try to play the sticks with maybe ONE freaking guy underneath.

But somehow on 3rd and short we did much better because we play a normal fricking defense and man up.

You're an idiot to blame the play call for that loss. defending the sideline was 10X more important than anything else, getting a guy out of bounds was the only way they realistically win in that situation. We had one of our best defenders in perfect position to win that game, he just happened to make an unspeakably awful mistake that lost the game.

Allen took a defense riddled with guys on IR, cast offs and rookies and made it top 10 in scoring defense, sacks, and takeaways. Whether Schwartz is a better coach is debatable, but Allen deserves a lot of credit for our success this season.
