Lsu basketball

Trust me when I tell you this program is going in the right direction. We played poorly today and the last 3 games for that mattter, but for someone to come here and say they don't see a difference in this program is absolutely special. (I mean in a negative way) I have watched every lsu basketball game over the last 5 years and when I say last year was as painful and possibly the worst basketball I have seen in my entire life might be an understatement. I am tired of "lsu fans" coming in here talking negative about this program when you know nothing about it. Hell half of these people started watching after the Arkansas game. This team isn't very talented and to compete every game in a tough conference says a lot about how special Will Wade is. I am telling you guys we have a special young coach who will have us a top 20 program. I get people being frustrated with the football situation because I'm frustrated as well. But to come in and talk bad about Will Wade shows me that you are a fair weather fan and know nothing about lsu basketball and hell basketball in general. The saddest part about this is when we are top 20 these people will be the same ones who act like they are the biggest lsu basketball fans out there. We knew This season was going to be tough but This team is exceeding expectations already and hopefully this team can keep scrapping and sneak into the nit. Dummies will say that's what we have come to the nit but if you were a true fan and not a fair weather fan you would be thankful for the NIT after the shite show I saw last year. It would be amazing to make the nit a year after the team I saw last year.

It's an easy way to tell who hasn't actually been watching LSU basketball over the last few seasons.

We’ve had a chance to win every conference game so far and his recruiting is an A++ so far. We are in good hands and are a tweak or two away from maybe getting back into the mix.. it’s been a disappointing week and a half but I believe we still have some bullets left in the chamber. I’d love to see him go to the full court pressure exclusively it could be the same spark Xavier Whipple being inserted into the lineup was for the 02-03 season.

...is playing as well as it can.
The talent gap between LSU and any other school in the league is enormous, but this team gave all in its first 6 conf games and will be a tough out from here to season's end.

Wade is clearly trying his best to make chicken salad out of chicken shite....that’s not a knock on these players, but that’s the situation he was handed.
Wade is clearly a very talented, young coach and has a vision for his style of play. That may mean some losses we should have won, but that’s the sacrifice you agree to when you are building a new program.
I like the guy and I’ve got faith that he’s building something special!

This team at least has chances to win games at the end. What frustrates me is the poor offensive execution when they have the opportunities. I guess the inconsistency is the lack of talent which is vastly improving next season. NIT would be a major accomplishment for this club.

People talking negatively about the basketball program are either trolls or O alters trying to discredit another sport to prop themselves up. Just don't respond to it. It's obviously a fricking moron either way.

I think most of the negative post are simply people pointing out hiring a coach and giving a hall pass should apply to Coach O as well.
The football team this past year had huge gaps and positions that were simply bare. The fans bashing coach O do not want to acknowledge the injuries, offensive line youth and to be honest a senior QB with limited arm.
This basketball team was no where close to the football team but the football team did not have championship talent either

I don't know that relatively speaking a lot of folks are saying that, but I would agree...I'd say that those that do say that are simply ignorant.
Not that we could not nitpick and express some frustration over the last 2-3 games and question WW on a couple of things, but the big picture....we're going to be fine. I'm excited about the future.
