No they’re not the same... been selling construction material for 30yrs and have bought both green and purple from the same manufacturer ...
The colors are different so you’ll know which is just moisture resistant and which is mold mildew and moisture resistant

Not the same at all.
Green = moisture resistant
Purple = Moisture, mildew and mold resistant
They are made by different companies, though.
