Actually Mac played before they added the weight and size to ball they changed weight and height of grass during Sampras time to “slow down the game” so incorrect about balls

Racquets I’ll give you as McEnroe used a wooden racquet for first semi final and final in London.

Connors used aluminum as did rest but Mac you listed in that era

Lendl is the father of the modern game. It’s a damn shame he never got to play with the heavier ball in Wimbledon he would’ve gotten the one tournament he wanted so badly. What he did to try to win that was incredible he switched his whole game and still almost won it. I am a huge Lendl fan.
