I would have thought that he would have gotten an analyst role prior to gettting the position. I love Faulk. But this is an odd move.

Faulk most likely knows Orgeron, (Occams's Razor) so this follows the familiar "Friends & Family" hiring plan that's currently becoming all so evident.
If you just have to hire an ex-LSU RB for "Director of Player Development", I'd rather see Jacob Hester. (I'm sure he knows O) Hire Faulk to coach RB's if Robinson goes to Cleveland..............
