Why is a Continuing Resolution a bad thing?

House just voted on it, Senate dems are pushing back.

Why is a CR a bad thing?

It allows more time for negotiation, seems like our government would rather work against itself than find common ground.

I’m not sure anyone in Washington gives a shite about anything but their re-election numbers.

a Continuing Resolution is deciding to do nothing but let things stay as they are and you will fix it later.

they have been putting it off to "fix it later" for almost 12 years now, dont you think its about damn time to actually create a working budget to run the country?
