They must've factored in us losing almost our whole rotation plus losing some key players. Let's prove them wrong this year baws

They are the only ones I’ll follow for rankings. They do hard core analysis on teams and they actually rank them. I think 16 is right for LSU because of all the injuries and what we lost from last year

I know Adam's analysis will start in a couple weeks, but how's the depth look?

We should have a productive lineup/defense with Smith, Slaughter, Coomes, Jordans, Watson, Duplantis. Reid has been timely when called upon. Cabrera is a big name newcomer. Who else can produce?

Is Gilbert Friday night? Hess rotation or closer? My guess is we need some younger arms to eat a lot of innings.

Feduccia (sp?) was a stud in the fall. Look out for him.

Good, hopefully it carries over. Consistency behind the plate would be an asset to the new arms.

I really like LSU's lineup this year, I think you have 7 everyday guys who *could* put up all-sec numbers...will they of course not but the talent is there.

These include Duplantis, Watson, Bryce Jordan, Smith, Cabrera, Feduccia, and Slaughter. You throw in guys like Coomes, Reid, Beau Jordan as well as incomers such as Hughes, Storz, and Webre and there's no reason LSU shouldn't find a solid 9.

That's still up in the air. I do feel strongly that both Hess and Gilbert should start and if they have strong seasons both will be top 5 rounders in June.

It’s LSU season everyday of the year. As long as it pertains to LSU sports, all topics should be welcome at any time of year.

Almost? As in our entire weekend rotation. I do think this team is gonna surprise a lot of people. I like the fact that we have way more lefty options out of the bullpen. PM did a great job bringing in some stud JC pitchers.

It really pisses me off that Florida and Vandy seem to grow dudes who throw 95mph, but we seem to always have issues with our rotation.

Not encouraging. Preseason 16th must mean about 7th or 8th in the SEC. Well, I'm still ootimistic. We've been doing well nationally every year since 2008 (except 2011).

What a joke with A&m at 10. Aggies lost as many players as the Tigers . No respect for D1 with shite like this.

I’m full on ready for the new season. Just marking the days down until opening night.

Also, crazy we could lose so much in pitching and still rank 16th. Lot of unknowns going into the season.

basketball will be gone in three years... let them have their little voice for now. It's officially baseball season once the bowl game or playoff championship is won by Fighting Tigers of LSU. The basketball team just isn't diverse enough for my taste.
