Kendrick is a very talented rapper. I thought the halftime show was pretty shitty but that's because rap doesn't sound good live.

I mentioned this in a thread Monday night, that most new rap doesn't sound good live. The ones that do, usually perform with a live band that turns their instrumentals into versions that can be played by bands.

One of the better concerts I've seen was a Bone Thugs n Harmony concert about 10 years ago and they performed with a band. It was great.

And I've seen all kinds of bands perform. I'm 31, but have been lucky enough to go to concerts all over and saw some legendary old rock bands, newer rock, old hip hop/rap and newer ones, older country bands (not a huge country fan, so didn't attend any of the horrible new style country concerts) and hell, even some EDM shite, which really isn't my thing.

Depends on who it is. I've seen Big Boi twice and he kicked all kinds of arse both times. Once was solo and the other was w/Andre 3000 as Outcast. He blew Andre 3000 off the stage so hard I wished the show was just him.
