He has big time talent. Not the last we’ve heard of him.

I remember a lot of people being really excited over stealing him from TCU. So I take this is a significant loss concerning depth?
PR Dept assured me he would've been lost in the depth chart now.

When a player knows he is never going to see the field for any of several reasons. (See: Savion Smith, Lindsey Scott...etc.)

Ask Mettenberger, for one.
And on a completely different spectrum, I highly doubt Lindsay Scott had grades problems.

It wasn’t in the case of Lindsey Scott, who played at EMCC this last season, was accepted to Harvard and is being recruited hard by Tulane.
Sometimes Juco is a quick route for an unhappy player to change direction to a different Division One program.
That’s why I asked the question, dumbass.

You're getting overly upset over losing a guy who was here for two years and barely got on the field.

Well Juluke was one of the main reasons he came.. and he was let go right after Sci signed, so this may have been doomed from the start
so he should not have any responsibility? c'mon man, it's a free country; I highly doubt he is transferring to a JUCO because his coach recruiter left over a year ago. the kid didn't study or go to class or apply himself. in any regard, the responsibility was his. blaming others is no way to be successful in life.

Wasn’t there some drama surrounding him on NSD a couple of years back? Didn’t send in his LOI or something?

I don't know. Ask Cam Newton.

Fair enough, but injuries are part of football. Most guys in this situation don't contribute much so I feel as though he isn't a significant loss.

Should we refer to it as "Purged", "Culled", or Processed"?
Doubt it. Even if we sign a full class we're only at 83 scholarships. And there might be more guys still leaving.
83 assumes Battle, Paris and Brumfield all return.

If I remember correctly someone in his family was ill (mother?) and he delayed the announcement a few times

Like always...you guys start speculating shite to fit your narrative when a guy transfers out. Going the JUCO route gives him option to sign where ever he wants to go after a year. (Example: Saivion Smith)

No excuse for an athlete to not pass... free tutoring ... probably an easy curriculum....
That’s their fault not the coaches.

This won't effect our depth at all really. We have a lot of young talent at the olb position and signed jerell cherry this class and another good one I believe. Sci martin was behind a few people at his position anyway. This doesn't hurt us at all really. It happens, every program deals with shite like this every season. He never even played a down here and some of you are freaking out like we lost a starter or something lol.
