JBE is so full of crap.
Got to raise taxes or no LSU football.
Got to raise taxes---its a life or death thing.
on and on
Well he bent over backwards with our tax money trying to subsidize Toyota and Mazda to build a plant here.
So tired of crap like this.
Make the taxes on businesses fair---fair on property and fair on income tax and fair on sales tax--and quit picking winners and losers in the state giveaway lottery.
Have I mentioned the hosing taxpayers are getting on the film industry welfare?

Nevertheless, he said LED will "re-examine the strategic investments in training and infrastructure that Louisiana needs to be a player in this industry. Through this process, and by working in partnership with our state, regional and local leaders, LED will redouble our efforts to attract automotive investment and jobs to our state."
"Though that final site selection has occurred in Alabama, we believe we’ve built a strong case for future automotive manufacturing projects to locate in Louisiana," Pierson said.
Louisiana's incentive package included:
• A $110 million land acquisition and site preparation fund.
• $173.1 million over 10 years through the state's Competitive Projects Payroll Incentive Program, an enhanced version of its payroll rebate Quality Jobs Program for highly competitive projects.
• A $35 million facility training grant.
• A $46.8 million value attached to workforce training services through the state's LED FastStart program.
• An estimated value of $90.6 million for a PILOT, or Payment In Lieu Of Taxes agreement, or Industrial Tax Exemption Program abatement.
• A $25 million flexible performance-based grant for building machinery, equipment and land acquisition.
• A $20 million performance-based grant to assist in establishing a mixed-use development with amenities serving the project site and region.

Raising taxes is half the economic plan of Gov. “Tax and Spend” JBE.
You know Tax AND Spend!
Wish we elected the guy who fricked a few hookers with his own money, than the “not-so-honorable honor code” knobby headed JBE, who wants to screw millions of Louisiana workers out of their own money!
