I see the guy has a ton of NFL experience as a Wr coach. Sure hope he is able to help the development of what seems to be our most consistent producer of high school talent. Usually the state has multiple top recruits at the WR position. And sometimes even better raw athletic talent flying under the radar.
Does anyone have an idea what he might be like as a recruiter? Will O have to pick up any slack there?

He wont recruit. He has said as much. At 73 he wont be able to take the grind of travel.

So now Sullivan and McMahon wont be recruiting for LSU.

That’s efficient......why is McMahon on staff anyway? Talk about a horrid hire going under the radar.

Thanks, figured as much. Don't foresee us ever having a problem with talent at the skill positions. Just hope the product on the field is worth the extra time put in recruiting by other staff.

No, the board wants BOTH great coaches and great recruiters. For the money invested in this athletic department and the coaches' salaries, it's honestly not much to ask for. Why settle for only a great recruiter, but crappy coach and vice versa? More Corey Raymonds would be nice -- I'm just saying. You can be a great coach working as an analyst, aiding a more well-rounded coordinator.

Dude, what makes you think and in-shape 73 year can't handle travel? That logic makes Trump too old to be president with the travel and grind, right?

Well, Trump has just about set a presidential record already for vacation days, and he has recently cancelled his planned trip to London. Add to that his obesity and generally being out of shape, and I can see why he's had to take so many breaks.

He's still done more for this country in a year than that coward of a president did in 8. Move on.

What a joke.

Yeah, he's done for his rich buddies and the polluting corporations, and thrown a few bones to his racist supporters with rhetoric such as what he said recently ("shithole countries")
He ought to thank President Obama for the solid economy he inherited and is now taking complete credit for.

Typical rant convo going on in the recruiting board.

Complain all year that we need a special teams guy and when we get one complain about who it is. You guys are tiring!

At least do me a favor and keep your rant on the rant!

Pete stayed off the road and you see how much that hurt our DL recruiting. His resume recruits for him and he will be on campus for unofficial and official visits. I'm sure he will hit the road as needed.

McMahon didn't recruit last season but what gives you any indication that he will not recruit now that he has been promoted?

At least he had the guts to order the risky mission into Pakistan that killed that pos Bin Laden. He also got the U.S. out of that fricking mess in Iraq that the draft-dodgers G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney lied the country into. And Trump paid some doctor in New York to say Trump had "bone spurs" in his feet (which mysteriously later disappeared) to get him out of going to Vietnam. That makes Trump a coward since some other less fortunate guy had to go to Vietnam in Trump's place.

I agree on all points above. I understand that Sullivan happens to be in good shape and is not lazy like Trump.
