Only a matter of time... Laffy restaurant market now totally saturated.

Posados in Shreveport is pure junk. Don't see how any are still open.

That place was gawbage.

No doubt. But it was close to home and a few of their entrees were decent. Nothing world famous.

How many years was this Posado’s open in Lafayette?
Also, does La Fonda still get crowded in the bar area on Thursday nights?

Probably 12 to 15 years. Lots of places have closed. Too many now.
Lafondas bar still crowded, mostly on Friday and Saturday. Bar brings in the food customers - Best fried yard bird in Laffy

What is it about Lafayette that we can't get good Mexican restaurants? It seems like they all start out good, but steadily go down hill over the years. Not one damn place here (that I know of) makes their own tortillas.

I remember the Ninfa’s in Lafayette. Place was awful.

No idea how it lasted as long as it did. Ate there once and it was terrible

Same. Ordered a tamale dinner and the tamale was still partially frozen.

Went to Pasados twice. Second time there, my plate was delivered and the tacos had small bugs crawling around in the lettuce. I'm not talking 1 or 2. There were LOTS!

That's one of the infamous cursed sections of Lafayette where countless restaurants have failed. Speaking of Mexican places, is Tampico's still open? The misses and I used to go every Friday before we had kids and get smashed on the rita specials.

I've gotten food poisoning from two restaurants in my life. Phil's Grill and this place. Can't say I'm sad both are gone now.

Same thing happened to me at Ground Patty II. A shitload of wormy looking bugs in the salad.
