Dangerous business these days with the crack down on docs over-prescribing opiods.

For sure. A buddy of mine has been getting a sizable script of Lortab-ish strength pain meds for years. Just recently they surprised him with a mandatory MRI(His out of pocket $500) of his back to continue getting his script. Ouch.

Some of these doctors are dirty.

We used to go to one in New Orleans. For $450, he'd give you an MRI, with your name on it but obviously someone else's MRI, and scripts of Percocet, roxy and valium. He used to give oxycontin until they fricked that up.

The first visit was the only one that was $450, bc of the MRI. After, you had a "legit" MRI and the monthly follow up visits only costed $250.

His office stayed packed until they shut it down. I mean it was ridiculous the amount of people in it.
