This site is not a microcosm or an outlier. Look at Dandy's poll from yesterday. Even his "soccer mom" readers, who overwhelmingly supported the Orgeron hire, voted a 63% overall disapproval rating. 63% opposition to an Ensminger elevation by a heavy faction of O supporters.
This is a monumental PR disaster for LSU Athletics at this point in time, no matter what they do now. Their only chance to gain favor back is to crawfish on the Ensminger plan and hire someone from the outside. But even that won't accomplish a lot unless O turns his new OC completely loose and our offense has us competing for the SEC by 2020.
