Canada's offense worked in other leagues with lesser DCs ..
SEC DCs are pretty savvy ...I remember Bama saying that it was for the most part "window dressing" and D players just needed to "stay home" and disregard all the other movements. ... Malzahn runs more variations off the movements than Canada

O has it made now - everything will be Miles or Canada's fault.

:bold strategy cotton:

If that happens, O looks like an idiot for pushing Canada out and then hiring a bad replacement.

I seriously doubt he realizes anything. The man is morally corrupt and way over his head.

I doubt Alleva is allowed to make the next hire. He IS allowed to make this hire though. Why would Joe let Ed dictate everyones fate by hiring an unproven guy?

Emmert locked Boris Yeltsin Dean out of the hiring process when we got Saban. We need to do that again when the O train derails.

Difference is Emmert demanded excellence in every aspect of the university. FKing cares only about slush funds and do-nothing bureaucracy jobs.

anyone that doesnt think O firing his handpicked OC in less than 12 months looks bad for O is an idiot or biased.
It was literally his biggest selling point. hiring the best coordinators.

now we get to go into a tough schedule with nothing but inexperience on offense while learning an entirely new system.

open your eyes sheep. this isnt normal.

Canada’s offense sucked

And yet...Orgeron hired him.

So...did he not bother to learn what kind of offense he ran BEFORE hiring him, or did Canada start sucking once he got to Baton Rouge? This bullshite about calling out Canada's offense AFTER hiring him and signing him to an incredibly lucrative contract is simply ridiculous.

I mean...at some point, Orgeron really does bear some responsibility here, no? The alternative is to pretend that Orgeron is just a pawn and things happen around him without his knowledge, which in itself is not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Doubt it. They will do it Coach Corndog’s way. If the offense falls flat, it’s 100% on the shrimp boat captain. He’ll get all the credit or all the blame. Good luck Tigers!

na bruh.
taking 52 4 and 5 star players jnto the easiest schedule in over 20 years and losing 4 games has nothing to do with our head coach being the most unqualified hires in big 6 history.

The shining moments of his head coaching career are beating a 4 loss auburn team and not letting a coach that was already employed here not leave.

What some of you still don't realize, is that ed orgeron doesn't plan on failing at LSU. This year wasn't close to a failure, especially with what we had to endure as a team. Coach O plans on kicking arse in the very near future. He is doing what he thinks is necessary for that to happen. He recognized a problem and handled it promptly. Of course he knows what this job entails, which is why he made this decision. Now, let the head coach of the LSU tigers be the head coach of the LSU tigers.
