I think it’s a combination of a few things that you want in an OC: 1. Veer and Shoot is a proven system and he knows it as well as anyone in country beside his father. 2. He could recruit the shite out of Texas 3. He spent a year with Kiffin, who besides all the personal drama, could’ve taught him one power spread stuff and how to really tweak your system to fit your players!

Hell, coming out of the murk the Briles folks left the new staff got the highest ranked class they have had in years in 17.
