It's because the white power structure there in the Southeast corner of the United States demands more spent on its athletics because they wanna see the black man beat up on his own.
All joking aside, it is pretty interesting that the teams that have won the vast number of the last 10 NC's (CFP or BCS) have all come from within about a 5 hour radius of Atlanta . I'm not getting to anything nefarious....just interesting like for a long time the best QB's in the game came mostly from W. PA....I've always wondered though why the West Coast teams are not more dominant...just as big a population to draw from and tons more money per institution
