The boycotts of Ivanka's line would have still happened.

Trump's DC hotel (which he is heavily invested in, and likely invested in unfavorably from what I understand) would have been a disaster. Only the foreigners filling it every night to curry favor has made it the smashing success it has become, and that only happens if he's POTUS.

The boycotts of Trump properties throughout North America would have still happened.

The only "plus" is that Trump would have returned to his show and could have launched a media network.

Reality TV days are over IMO and "Apprentice" would have been a dud after maybe the first year back. And who knows about a news network - that's no guarantee either.

I don't buy that Trump "wanted" to lose. It makes zero sense.
