I havent been to our marsh in three years. I went Saturday. It was terrible. One little group of 5 teal, a bunch of high flying blackjacks and one bulletproof mallard drake (no way I missed!).

Skys were empty of those ducks we used to see all morning flying NW to SE.

We are just a little SW of Lake Arthur on the intercoastal.

This thread is true to a certain extent, yes duck hunting in LA will probably never be as good as it was 20-30 years ago.

But they are still plenty of spots in South LA that guys kill plenty of ducks and plenty of mallards, pintails, etc.

you just have to be lucky or have the money, connections or both to hunt these spots.
