If they paid me enough money and I was guaranteed to have Dave Aranda and Corey Raymond on staff I could give a frick if my predecessor lasted 2 weeks.

A coach who has his staff dictated to him won't go to any school. If they saw the ND game they would question why LSU wanted to keep either coach. Rightfully so.
