Interesting concept. I feel like if this was going to work, they would've tried it 100 years ago. Smells like snake oil, but if it actually works, then sweet! Still gonna game my G fo-hunnit.
Thoughts? Is the new push going to be sacrifice distance for accuracy?

My question is how does this affect control? Some people "want" to hit a draw or fade and know that they can get more of one or the other by hitting it closer to the toe or heel.
As a high spin driver, I try to keep my ball strikes closer to the toe because anything on the heel would be a disaster. It works well enough for me. Do I change my swing/approach based on the equipment?

I will be hitting them for sure, but it's hard to beat the accuracy of my Titleist for just a little increase in distance, hard to beat TM fairway woods though, a lot of the old Adams tech in these heads it seems.

MyGolfSpy wrote a pretty good and honest article about it

New M4 looks a whole lot like the Adams XTD driver.
ETA: M4 vs XTD for reference
The new logos looks sweet, I’d game either of them. Doubt the tech is any better or worse than what is already out there.

Hitting the ball closer to the toe = less spin and easier to draw (although that's much more dependent on face to path). And vice versa for a fade. Obviously, I want to hit center every time, but I'm still trying to get closer to the toe for a draw and less spin.

Yep. I think this is going to be bad for those who know what they're doing with a driver, especially if they abandon the concept next series of drivers. I like the idea, but practically speaking, I think it's a stretch, especially for the "consistency factor"

I think they should've left one model w/out the twist face for those who are competent driving. Have the twist face on those who have issues with the miss (like a game improvement type)

Well, those people could just, you know, not buy this driver.

It's a question people should be asking. Some will; some won't. Some don't need to; some don't care. I added my 2 cents is all. Great insight on your part though.

Any reviews on how the center feels?

I don't think there are any real reviews yet other than just breaking down the information released by TM.

Haven't seen any.
The one thing TM has done that I could get down with was the SLDR - loft up low spin. They just weren't forgiving enough for most. But I played with a guy in his late 60s who gamed one he had a very repeatable swing and he was crushing his at 12 degrees. Other than that SLDR line, I've remained a skeptic of their equipment with their increased distance claims

2016 M2 was the best head they've put out in some time.

Which was more of a byproduct of screwing up the location of the CoG on that head

I am 100% confused on what to buy now. I hate this feeling. Guess I just gotta man-up and pull the trigger on one. I like how the M1, M2, M3, and M4 look.

MGS just roasted TM on their "new" twisted face tech on their instagram story

The tech is interesting but it's not a fix all for a miss. If your path is out to in, face open, and you strike it on the toe, it's going even further right.
